Nutella French Toast

If you have a sweet tooth and love brunch, this is the recipe for you! This recipe is ideal because most of the ingredients are ones that I already have in the kitchen. The only item I usually need to buy is brioche bread.



Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (I used almond!)

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp coconut extract

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice (or nutmeg)

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • loaf of brioche bread

  • Nutella

  • fruit of choice


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, coconut extract, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and maple syrup

  2. Cut the brioche into around 3/4-1 inch thick slices

  3. Dip the bread into the mixture on both sides

  4. Place the bread into a pan on medium heat with butter and cook on both sides until lightly browned

  5. Spread Nutella in between the layers of toast and top with your fruit of choice

  6. Optional. Drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving
