I saw is blended baked oats recipe on TikTok and I had to try it! This dish takes around 5-10 minutes to mix together and 20 minutes to bake in the oven. I love how versatile this recipe is, based on what ingredients you have available at home. The baked oats are like a blank canvas and you can add whatever fruit, chocolate, etc. to it and the dish will taste pretty good.

Ingredients
Baked Oats
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 egg
1/4 cup applesauce (or 1/2 of a ripe banana)
1/3 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional, if more sweetness desired)
splash of milk or milk substitute (to thin the mixture)
Mix-Ins and Toppings
blueberries
almond butter
strawberries
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Blend oats into a powder-like consistency
Add eggs, applesauce, baking powder, and sweetener (optional) to the oats and mix together until incorporated
If the mixture is thick and looks dry, add a splash of milk or milk substitute and stir
Fold in blueberries
Bake for 20 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean)
Top with fruit/spreads of choice! I added some edible flowers to my oats for a little more color!
